Swan Yamaha's Ian Hutchinson was taken to hospital today (Wednesday) after sustaining a suspected broken leg during rehearsals for the MCN Motorcycle Show at Excel.
Hutchinson was reported as twisting his leg awkwardly whilst riding an off-road bike during practice for the stunt show. He has been taken to hospital in Coventry for further assessment.
Updated 19:00 Swan Yamaha Team Owner, Shaun Muir confirmed Hutchinson has a new fracture away from his previous breaks. He will have an external fixator fitted and hopes to be released from hospital as soon as possible.
